Bolivia rarely gets the spotlight in specialty coffee, and that's exactly what makes this lot special. Grown by the Rodriguez family at Fincas Los Rodriguez in Samaipata / Caranavi at 1,500–1,850 masl, this Caturra and Catuai black honey is processed with a generous layer of mucilage left intact during drying, pushing syrupy body, caramelized sweetness, and deep fruit character while keeping the structure clean and balanced. In the cup: red apple and papaya open with a fresh, tropical brightness, caramel and macadamia settle into a nutty, rounded mid‑palate, and milk‑chocolatey sweetness carries the finish long and smooth—comforting without ever feeling heavy.
