Peru Roberto Tello — Gesha Inca SL-09 Washed
Washed SL-09 (Gesha Inca)
Good for you if: you enjoy a clean, tea-like filter coffee with juicy cranberry, citrus, and soft peach, and want a bright, floral cup for V60, Kalita, or AeroPress.
Grown by Roberto Tello at Finca Kupipata in Pacaybamba, Cusco at 2,160 masl, this SL-09 lot, known locally as Gesha Inca, is processed using the washed method. In the cup, it opens with orange peel, honey, and cranberry aromatics, develops into juicy cranberry, citrus, and soft peach, and finishes with bergamot-like florals. The result is a clean, transparent cup with vibrant acidity and elegant sweetness.
Washed processing keeps the cup clear and structured, letting the cranberry sweetness and floral aromatics come through with a tea-like finish.
